Sushi Kaiser in Dortmund

We pre-ordered sushi and soup there for New Year's Eve. A good 50 euros for two people. I got advice by phone and then ordered one day in advance. Nobody told us a specific date to pick up and since it was meant for the evening I said I would come during the day. Pick up by me around 4 p.m. With umpteen other orders, my sushi has been standing in the entrance area for three hours without refrigeration. The bored lady at the cash register preferred to devote herself to her doner kebab and french fries. Cooling is not necessary, it said. Unpacked at home, at least the tuna clearly showed that it would have preferred to be cooled. We also ordered two ramen noodle soups. A fish soup was packed and half of it had already run into the bag when it was badly closed. Two stars because the sushi was good. The rest of the disaster. Unfortunately, you couldn't speak to someone in charge and probably no one answered the phone anymore Dear Kaiser Team ..... not us again.

We ordered sushi and were absolutely satisfied. Delivery was super on time and the sushi was very tasty. Very expensive in terms of price compared to others. For that, the quality was impeccable.

I ordered online to get it delivered later in the day. The delivery was perfectly on time. The dish was tasty and well served. The only complain I'd have is that many dishes are priced 9,90€ which doesn't make sense for delivery services as they are free starting from 10€. Yet there's nothing to add to make it up for those 10¢. Other than that, great delivery service!

Surcharge for collection. Cheeky and interesting argumentation (regardless of Corona). Not visible online. Transparency looks different. Price-performance: 2 stars Fortunately, there are better alternatives.

We order there regularly and are absolutely satisfied every time. The sushi is always fresh, the quality is good and the suppliers are always friendly! The one star trigger is only because of the (sometimes) very long waiting time.

I ordered a sushi box and a bottle of white wine yesterday. The sushi was really good. Unfortunately, I was sold an old (2013) bottle that is no longer drinkable.

First the positive: Everything we got was delicious! Now the negative: We would have loved to get what we ordered !!! Conclusion: Ordered with 4 people for over 100 euros ... in the end you got a large pile of food, first had to check who owned what and then found out that something was missing! Because it was so delicious two stars, otherwise only one!

The portion could be a bit bigger, especially on the Ramen Noodle soup, a few more noodles wouldnt be a bad idea. But quality and taste and food is great.

We didn't wait long for our order, but unfortunately something was forgotten. After we called, the order was redelivered without any discussion. Everything tasted fresh and very tasty. Nice supplier, although he had to drive 2 times. Delighted again, even during Corona times :)

We ordered for the first time. Two things were forgotten and the dessert wasn't there either. Thanks for that.

The taste and quality of the food is really great! There is one point deduction for the long delivery time, this could be lower.

The food and the service was good 2+. However, the music was annoying. Typical migrant music was played very loudly. It only got a little quieter after a request from me. From the space and the staff behind the counter as well as the delivery driver (who hung around) it could have been a doenerbude. But as I said, the sushi were good.

First time that I ate such delicious sushi. Staff very friendly too.

Very bad service! We ordered through Lieferando. A delivery time of 80 minutes was specified. It was ok. But after more than 2 hours, the food was still not there. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Music way too loud, service unfriendly, sushi smacked like thawed and the bowls weren't clean ... Absolutely wrong decision to have left my money there. Never again, was not recommended!

Have ordered a few things earlier. Unfortunately there was one dish (Udong Chiken) which was not the normal dish, unfortunately the sauce was missing. I called immediately, unfortunately I was fobbed off with an "I take note". Since we have ordered this dish several times, we knew what it usually tastes like. It's a shame, no coming forward. I wouldn't even have asked for an unnecessary delivery, just maybe a small discount next time.

We wanted to order a Japanese frame (as it is on the menu as a lunch menu). It wasn't a real Japanese frame. A slightly larger miso soup. Quality below average. The location is not particularly beautiful. And a little too expensive for € 7.90

Mega cool. It was a birthday. Were very happy with everything. Delivery, service and quality.

Good restaurant

Service was not what could be expected, did not feel like they cared about if we would get served or not. We ordered a large plate with a variety of choices and the only good thing was the raw salmon, the rest was not acceptable for the price we paid. The tuna was so bad that it looked like it would break under the pressure of a pair of chopsticks, it did not have a good colour and tasted awful. Like it was frozen down and then heated poorly, like it had been destroyed. We could not even finish it. Two out of four people in our group felt our stomach to be upset after this meal. Also, the toilet didn't work, could not flush and which for some reason did not seem to be a problem for the staff... But the crunchy crust was good for what it's worth.

Very tasty Ramen, but way too salty.

We booked a table for 8 people for the evening. When we arrived perfectly on time we were told that the "all you can eat" wasn't available anymore because there were too many people. Very disappointing considering that we booked. We left and went to another restaurant. Never again

Very good food for a surprisingly low price.

It was nice there. Really friendly waiter and could help is easily as we didn't speak German. Food was very well presented, very delicious and filling. Only thing they serve drinks in very small glases. You kinda have to purchase more than one. But its business I guess. Or I am just used to bigger UK glasses. :)

Delicious, normal sushi prices, reasonably priced for other Japanese dishes. If a lot of online orders come in, the guest in the restaurant is not so important, but professional apology before I could say something - very confident.
